1/24/2012 As our family grows older so do the wonderful blessings that come to us each day. Brandon is now 11. Abigail is almost 9. As a Christian wife and mother I have the wonderful blessing to serve my family to the best of my ability. I have been adding new pages to the blog as I have time and as it corresponds to our life at this time. May you be blessed as you read.

Spring Break Baby!!!
So today is the first day of spring break for the kids and it was very gloomy outside. But we had a great fun day anyways and I got tons done. I lots of stuff for the kids to do this week so as to avoid the infamouse I'm bored comments.
Stacy Update.....
Ok all here is the latest on just me.....
On March 25th I had another female surgery. If this surgery does not work my only recourse will be to have a hysterectomy for my issues which as many of you know I have been avoiding for over 20 years. The surgery was called a cryoablation and without any gory details just know that my presurgery meds failed to kick in until about 4 hours after the whole thing was complete and I was home. SO I went through the procedure without any pain medication, ho hum such is my life.
Ron took off work both Thursday and Friday. Also, my great friends Rhonda and Wendy helped me out on Thursday and checked on me on Friday. Rhonda took Abigail on Friday overnight and to a birthday party Saturday.
I am doing well and taking my time doing anything so as not to have any setbacks on my recovery. God is good and I am healing quickly and already feel much better.
Praise God!!!

This weeks update 3/16/10
I have been very busy. Spring cleaning is in progress-so far i have shampooed carpets(which i do at least 1x a month), washed slipcovers, purged toys, purged other stuff, got rid of some clothes, and redone the laundry room. I still want to remove, wash, rehang all the curtains in the house and put the slip covers back on the furniture. I would also like to build me a shelving unit(aka built in) at the fireplace on 1 side for right now to organize all the toys for the kiddos, later i will do the other side to match. Ron also wants to rearrange the master bedroom so looks like that will be done soon as well. Spring break starts in under 2 weeks and I want most of this finished by then. Also my surgery(another female surgery) is only 1 week from Thursday so that is another goal as well. Plus on 3/15 I went to the doctor again due to a bad allergy attack that has turned to a sinus infection, so I needed meds to get rid of it before my surgery. Everyone was very blessed with my silence for a while but now my voice is slowly coming back. God is good!!

Update on us....
The kids and I have become members of a wonderful church, Cornerstone Church of the Brethren. The children and I love this church and are very involved in the happenings there. The children play a song on the piano most every week and I am in charge of the children's ministry. Brandon will be baptized soon and is in the process of earning his first religious emblem through scouts.
Both children are as busy as ever. Brandon is a bear in cub scouts, taking piano lessons, practicing soccer, and doing extra school work daily. Abigail is taking piano lessons, doing extra school work daily, and taking dance classes.
They are our most precious blessings.

Green Monster Smoothie
The smoothie that makes your skin just glow. :) Doesn't that sound nice? I have a friend who shared this with me and she showed pictures of her before and after and her skin was more clear and she had a glow to her complexion. BEAUTIFUL! I decided that I would like to give this green monster a try. I hear its pretty darn tasty and you cant taste the spinach at all. This will also make you very regular if you know what i mean. LOL! I will update after i try it and even post pictures if i stick to it and see a change in my skin. Im hoping i get the energy boost that others have gotten too. That would be awesome!
