my process was.....
1. With all my kiddos help we removed everything but the big appliances from the room.(purging as i went)
2. I cleaned all the cobwebs from the room and swept the floor.
3. I took 2 old cans of paint- an old white and an old green. Mixed them together and created this real pretty aquaish color.
4. Then I painted all the walls including some of the shelf brackets to "hide" them
5. I mopped the floors and cleaned my washer and dryer.
6. Lastly, I put everything that made the cut back and in a much more roganized manner and easier for me to use and find.
But here are the after pictures...
behind the door
left side of door ( my plan is to cut down the sorter to fit under the bottom shelf)
My pantry area and the utilities in the background.
I still have a couple more ideas up my sleeve. My goal is to have everything off the floor, But really the only things still left there are the carpet shampooer and vacuum. I am thinking heavy duty hooks to hang my vacuum up(it is a Dyson and I want to protect it). The shampooer still baffles me, but i am very pleased with it thus far.
